"KKN Desa Penari 2022"(KKN in Dancer's Village) Short Recap Story Indonesian Movies

The main story of the movie is based on a Twitter thread by @simpleman in June 2019, which narrates about 14 colleges student who went to a campus study to develop a rural area in 2009, in a small village in the initials B regency of Indonesia, having a bizarre event until some of them doing big mistakes that lead them to death.

The threads were having 2 versions of the story, from the point of view of the characters Nur and Widya. The threads went viral cause based on a true story and at that time many college students doing KKN (campus study) also had similar bizarre events. The movie was planned to be released in 2020 but postponed due to covid 19 and was finally released in 2022 reaching 10 million views in theaters.

The movie was only focused on the story of 6 characters that go into a rural village in the middle of a forest. Contains Nur, the calm and most religious one; Wahyu the brat kid; the triangle love of Bayu, Bima, and Widya; Anton, the most follow-the-rules man; plus Badarawuhi, the traditional dancer ghost spirit that rules the area,

The polemic of the story started from the beginning of the story when some of them were doing inappropriate things and breaking the rules that caused the bizarre events to them. Until there's one time Bayu and Ayu doing a very big mistake, they're consciously having sex in a sacred place of the village, which leads to the unstoppable terror on them that leads them to death.

At the end of the story, the rest 4, Bima, Nur, Anton, and Widya could get out of the village and canceled the project of the campus study. 

The massage of the story is to tell about wherever you are, always respecting the existing culture and rules in it.
